Boat washing and post-trip washdowns in the Upper Keys
Salt dries into a crust on everything it touches: gelcoat, stainless, vinyl, glass and the outboards. Left there, it dulls the finish and starts to pit the metal.
Dapper Marine's maintenance wash keeps a boat in regular use clean, and the post-trip washdown takes care of the salt after a day out, so you can tie up and go home.

What a wash covers
- Exterior rinse and hand wash, top to waterline
- Salt and grime off decks, hatches and non-skid
- Windows, windshield and stainless wiped down
- Outboards rinsed after a saltwater run
- A final walk-around before we leave
Wash on a schedule, not when it's bad
A boat that gets rinsed after every run rarely needs heavy work. One that sits salty for weeks ends up needing a buff, and sometimes oxidation removal.
If your boat is out most weekends, ask us about a regular wash so it's always ready when you are.

Common questions
What's the difference between a wash and a full detail?
A wash is upkeep: salt and grime off, surfaces wiped down. A full detail goes deeper inside and out, with polishing and protection. Most boats need washes often and a detail a few times a year.
Do you rinse the engines?
Yes. Our post-trip washdown rinses the outboards along with the rest of the boat.
Can you wash my boat on a regular schedule?
Ask when you call 305-852-8335. Tell us how often the boat goes out and we'll set a schedule around it.
How much does a boat wash cost?
It depends mostly on the length of the boat and how often it's washed. Call or text for a quote.
